We welcomed Clare and Sherry to the team, Clare is part of our financial planning team and Sherry has joined the compliance team, working alongside Gill and Hann in the Philippines.

Congratulations to our Head of Financial planning Alec and his fiancé Lilly on their recent engagement.

 In June, we took on The Push-Up Challenge and completed a heap of push-ups between 5-28 June, to raise funds and awareness for mental health. The Accru Hobart All Stars raised close to $1200.

We welcomed 2 new equity holders into Accru Hobart on July 1, Alec our head of Financial Planning and Sarah our Practice Manager.

In August, Courtney spent 24 hrs with a group of incredible local leaders at Ronald McDonald House as part of the CEO walk in my shoes experience. They heard from the CEO, spoke to some of the affected families, made up new rooms, prepared Father’s Day gifts, cooked meals and held a focus group on ways to facilitate education programs within the house. They each had their own scenarios we had to research and referred to this during their stay (all current scenarios of families at the house) including a call at midnight to take a toy over to the hospital. Courtney was so fortunate to participate in the first CEO walk in your shoes experience and got a much deeper understanding of the organisation and its needs.
