Monthly Monday Activities
In July our team swapped spreadsheets for sketchpads in a lively game of Pictionary! Laughter filled the room as colleagues channelled their inner artists. It was a great opportunity to strengthen teamwork and showcase some surprising artistic talents… or lack thereof!
The artistic team of Vijeta, Anjana, and Melissa took home the trophy.
For our August monthly activity, we had a blast playing Charades! Everyone got into the spirit, acting out a whirlwind of actions and everyday tasks with hilarious results. From exaggerated gestures to creative interpretations, the laughter was non-stop. It was a fantastic way to showcase our acting skills, and enjoy some light-hearted fun together. While they may not have won an Oscar for their remarkable acting, Melissa and Uyen have claimed the title of ultimate charades champions, proudly taking home the trophy.
In September our team competed in a classic game of Uno! Competition was fierce as we witnessed seasoned pros and rookies alike attempting to outsmart each other with questionable strategies. Who knew that “Draw Four” could spark more drama than an unexpected audit? Uno appears to be a crowd favourite with many games since firing up during lunch breaks.
Tilly dealt the final blow and came out on top as Uno champion and takes home the coveted trophy.
Monthly Staff Lunches
A lucky staff member gets to pick their choice of lunch for staff and over the quarter we all enjoyed Burrito Bar, Little Red Dumpling, and Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers.
Footy Colours Day
September brought the excitement of footy finals and the spirt of Footy Colours Day! Our team donned their favourite footy gear and hosted our annual sausage sizzle fundraiser to support the Fight Cancer Foundation. Big thank you to Brendan and James who were the BBQ masters. This year we were especially thrilled to celebrate the mighty Brisbane Lions who claimed the premiership!
Birthday Celebrations
This quarter we celebrated our Uyen Ngo’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Uyen!
Farewell
This quarter we farewelled Anjana Poudel who has decided to relocate to Coffs Harbour to be closer to family. We wish her all the best.
